Product Description

The rounded outer faces of whole natural river stones are retained while the heavy center is sawn away. The resulting veneer has an original natural face and a flatter back.

Used as individual pieces for stone masonry installations, rather than a manufactured repeating panel.

What to confirm before placing an order

Natural stone is individually shaped. We recommend approving the batch appearance, packing and project measurements rather than relying solely on a representative photo.

Appearance

Confirm the acceptable color range, edge shape and natural variation against current-lot photos or samples.

Dimensions

Confirm veneer thickness and square-foot coverage, or corner running length and whole-rock size grading as appropriate.

Shipment

Specify target quantity, destination port, packing method and any project delivery requirements for an accurate quotation.

Product selection notes

Details that matter when specifying this stone

How cutting works

The thick middle portion is removed from a suitable whole cobble. The two natural outer faces become veneer units with sawn backs.

Thickness control

Standard finished pieces are typically targeted at 2–4 cm; thinner cutting can be discussed after checking stone integrity and project loading.

Net coverage

Because pieces are irregular, confirm the net exposed face area per crate and expected joint spacing before purchase.
